Honestly I don’t think the corpo lewdtuber will work out, the income they will get from sponsors and stuff would be much less than what a normal vtuber would get, and if they are taking a cut of the fansly income why would you even want to be corpo, especially as discoverability wouldn’t be much better because they are still nsfw so they can’t really advertise to a general audience.
they could be a "regular" vtuber in public streams and only have lewd content behind gates. Then sponsors could work.
It varies wildly; A lot of mainstream sponsors wont want to touch you with a 10ft pole if they so much as get a whiff of NSFW content creation, especially if it's part of your "core" brand. This is a big pain point for vtubers like Mel who struggle with sponsored content, ads and merch even when she's attached to a huge corpo like VShojo (and why Mel rarely if ever appears in any of their cross-promo stuff - no SMITE cameo for her).

Id honestly say before the whole Vtubing craze, VRChat was and still is a huge hotbed for old and new Lewdtubers, Like rn most VRChat streamers are like 1 step away from essentially being lewdtubers themselves. If not for the fact they just dont have a fansly/onlyfans/patreon. Its that VRC pipeline. First you just casual use VRC as a fun way to interact with people. Then you want a cool avatar to match your personality, Moving to seeing people in slutty ass avatars and thinking to yourself, "Hmm maybe that aint so bad, I wanna be hot too". To then slowly awaken people to be more comfortable to their sexuality, Finally finally people are just being comfortable with being Lewd. Then they either stream or just have e-sex with their discord kitten /j. What im trying to get at is, if you give people the ability to feel comfortably sexy/hot people are gonna wanna share that... Twitch/Onlyfans/Fansly. (yadda yadda im just yapping, VRChat = more indie Lewdtubers)
