Feedback Should pixeldrain be banned, as they no longer 'allow' porn?

Porn: Pornographic material is not strictly banned on pixeldrain. But in order to comply with international regulations I have to prevent it from spreading too far. For this reason pornographic videos and images can be reported through the file reporting form. Once reported the file will be removed from public viewing. The IP address of the uploader will not be banned, and if the file was uploaded with an account, the owner of the file will still be able to download their files. This

Basically, uploading it isn't against the rules, but if it's reported then it's deleted (just with no punishment to the uploader). This is effectively a ban - why would we promote a host that bans porn given that's pretty much the entire point of this site?

Otherwise, should Pixeldrain be added to the "unreliable hosts" list in the Mirroring Policy? I'd say a host that deletes porn as soon as it's reported is pretty unreliable for the purposes of this site, and we all know that there'll be at least one asshole who goes around reporting Pixeldrain links.

tbf tho pretty much all these file host sites bans content that violate copyright laws (copyright infringement) and at the end of the day pixeldrain is one the best hosts for free users atm so no need to ban them unless they go on a massive porn deletion wave

I have been saying this the week the put the 5gb limit then your download speed is dropped to like 600kbps for 24hrs. Worst file host allowed on this forum.

IMO the reason why porn is now banned 80% of the files uploaded is porn and 80% that is uploaded is from the users of this forum.

Thing is, Pixeldrain doesn't delete the content once reported.

Once your link is down, you (uploader) can still access it and download it. That makes it more reliable than Gofile, which isn't blacklisted.

I do think the Unreliable Hosts should be updated though, as Mega requires that you pay to download files more than 5 GB in one sitting, and is known to purge accounts over DMCA'd material.

All that said, Pixeldrain let's you (user) keep the file, so it's still bearable compared to worse hosts.

If you're not too stingy, PixelDrain is also super cheap to get a premium account for. I think they charge like 4.99 on their patreon page to become a premium member.
