the Japanese courts have apparently released a record of her past request .

TL;DR (Also, I've never had to read legalese in Japanese before so apologies in advance for any errors.)
- The court proceedings ended on Oct. 27, 2023, a judgment was passed on Jan. 18.
- The anonymous posts were posted on Aug. 15-16, 2022, so the court request may have been filed around then.
- She hired eight lawyers for this one request. The defendant, the SoftBank Group (presumably because they provided internet/mobile data to the anonymous poster(s)), had only one.
(The other only contained a redacted URL, apparently to imgur.)
Her five arguments justifying the disclosure of information were:
1. Breach of privacy
- Judgment: Invalid because Rushia's age is discoverable with a single Google search.
2. Infringing her honour
- Judgment: It is in fact creepy to say things like "I'm gonna lick this knife," or "I wanna kill 'em," so it wouldn't be considered illegal under Japanese law.
3. Copyright violations
- Judgment: The image was hosted on an external site (imgur) so linking it isn't illegal since you can't know if the poster uploaded it. (Also it apparently wasn't copyrightable for some reason...? Something about it being editable.)
4. Copyright requirement to source other people's work with a name
- (Apparently the imgur screenshot cropped out her name)
- Judgment: The wording was kinda confusing for this one, but I think the final judgment was that the name didn't need to be displayed because the image redacted personally identifiable information...?
5. Disclosure is necessary in order to press charges against the anonymous posters
- There was no specific judgment for this argument.

its better to allow somewhere for this type of discussion so it doesnt effect other locations. the other option is to outright ban the topic, but that requires more moderation and isnt really an effective way to actually get rid of it since it will happen and will cause others to chime in.

niji's PR attempt on elira's channel seems quite fucked. feels far to scripted to be the livers own words, and they start by saying "we dont condone harassing people" then basically shit talk selen
the mention of legal paperwork potentially being doxx level for elira, millie, and enna is also kinda dumb, they are almost confirming that these livers are part of the problem since they wouldnt be mentioned in such detail for a legal battle if they were not implicated

didnt mean to question if it was scripted or not, what i meant was that it sounds too "official" or whatever and i question the validity of it being "what we say in this stream is our own words and our own feelings"
it seems far more likely that this was written by someone in the company, discussed with lawyers, and then they wrangled up a few livers willing (or coerced) to ruin their image.
with mentions of elira and vox being in the legal documents i wouldnt be suprised if that information was used by anycolor to persuade them that they need to make this statement

yeah i dont really understand the whole "well the livers didnt sign an NDA about that so theres no legal issue"
like cmon, how did they get it? from you. who signed an NDA? you. so theres a legal issue here cus you broke the NDA.
not to mention these are niji employees, spreading confidential information on niji owned platforms.... sounds like niji is breaking NDA to me
Oh by the way Scarle hearted a comment that said "Kurosanji" in the comments section of her latest vod. She (or her manager) unhearted it, but it did happen and there are screenshots.

In all seriousness though, I think this is gonna have a big impact on corpo vtubing in general. With all the controversies piling up surrounding corpos, I believe most of the good talent will stay indie and the entry level for passing auditions will start to lower.

Elira is on a work visa in Japan. She refuses, they fire her and she is deported back. Using Occam's razor however suggests she is probably just shilling for her company.
