Hi all, there are some hacked accounts posting viruses within zip links on gofile.
Please report these posts when you see them.
DO NOT reply to them, this just makes it harder for us to clean up and may get your account banned by mistake.

the progress % is based on the number of lines in the playlist file, .m3u8, and sometimes there is an extra empty line at the end, so the last download .ts file will be for example, line 1099, while the playlist has 1100 lines. If it says complete, then it is completely downloaded
So what is the definitive free way to fetch vids now? Or are we out of luck. I refuse to give my credit card to this site lol.
I could be 100% wrong, but I foresee some crazy guy doing a DDOS attack on them now,
I gave up a few months ago when JDownloader2 + VPN + email/cookies credentials approach stopped working. I have not found a reliable way since it happened.
oh, fml. I'm on macOS. IDM doesn't seem to be available. Browser extension doesn't seem to work for me. Good to know though. Thanks

Thank you for the utility! It works well.
Since I'm not so techy it took some time to figure out how to use it with PowerShell.
I'm on my 7-day Premium Trial, and am able to download up to 6 vids simultaneously with your tool.
Resuming failed downloads also works (following the instructions posted on previous pages).

It wasn't available a few days ago. I created a new account just to get 7 more days and the option wasn't there. Now I log in that same account and was able to get the trial

Same thing happen to me, the only reliable way to download that works for me is, on any Firefox-based browser with this addon;

The 7-day free trial doesn't require a credit card, you just press the upgrade button and it upgrades your account, at least for me.
Yes you need a free account, and you can use a VPN if you want to download more then 1 video per day.
A few years ago, there used to be an extension for Chrome for Recurbate, you didn't need an account or anything, and the thing worked for years.
It's such a shame we need to jump through so many hoops to extract vids from them.

I had no idea that the entire URL list got downloaded at once. Came back from a shower to find 78 streams downloading concurrently
