I've been working on a lightweight application that uses Onlyfans websockets to receive notifications when someone you're subscribed to makes a new post, story, or sends you a message.

I feel like it's finally in a place where other people can use it, so here it is:

I've added a release on the github page, meaning you don't have to go through the hassle of installing the rust language and compiling the executable yourself. I do recommend reading the README for usage instructions

Maybe? Depends on whether or not they use websockets to communicate information about new posts and stuff. From a glance it looks like fansly does make a websocket connection, but I'm not interested in reverse-engineering it ATM

The latest release enables notifications for streams, models running promotions and subscriptions that are expired (among other things that onlyfans places under their "notifications" tab). With that I believe just about everything you would want to be notified about is finally supported. 🎉

Also, the github address of the dynamic rules that is used to trick the onlyfans server into thinking we're accessing the site through legit means got changed. I'm not sure for how long the authors intend to keep the content at the new address and the old one in sync, but I recommend you update asap.

Do you know which models' promotions will trigger the notification? Is it just expired subs and/or bookmarked models?

Not sure about bookmarked models, it's whatever onlyfans puts under it's "notifications > promotions" tab. Models to whom you subscribed in the past that start a promotion should definitely show up there

There's support for notifications about promotions. Not sure in what way you're talking about a "free trial notification"

Whenever I try to run this I get "Error registering app: Windows API error: Cannot create a stable subkey under a volatile parent key." in the log. Any suggestions on how to fix?

For a few days now I've only sporadically been receiving wall posts, haven't figured out the cause yet. I'm assuming it's on onlyfans' side. Since it seems to have started after a short outage

Ok, at least it's not just me. I'm watching the browser and the listener at the same time to see if the response is the same for both. I'll post an update if I see anything interesting.

Not good--I got a wall post that didn't light up the home icon with a "1" (aka NO notification via websocket).

Hopefully this isn't a permanent change because it'll kill a lot of the value of this method. Messages still work however.

This strengthens my assumption that it's on OF's side. best case it's a bug and they'll iron it out, worst case they might phase out the use of websockets to communicate new posts and stuff.

Out of curiosity, what tab were you on when you would normally have received the notification?
