I think it's more than that. Setting it to "HQ" tends to get the best overall results, but even then, you kind of need to look at the previews individually to see what the results will be, rather than just churning everything through a batch. Like you had it set for face recognition, which can help on portrait / torso shots, but if its full body it can ruin it. Look at the hands and feet in some of the good quality / not low-res photos and you can see how they bleed together.
And if it's pixelated you should use DeNoise.
You don't need to upload the originals, but going forward you might want to just post those and let people decide for themselves if they want to upscale them. There are sites that do it for free now.
