Guide Forum Post Downloader - Tampermonkey Script

Introduction​

This script can download the contents of many posts on the forum including locally hosted attachments and files on some external hosts such as jpg.church, pixl, cyberdrop, bunkr, pixeldrain and others.

The script adds a download button alongside every post and a download all button at the top of every page which will download every post on the page.

Installation​

- Install the tampermonkey extension

- Click on the icon up near the web address bar (1) (you may have to click the puzzle piece to see it if its hidden) and then select 'Create a new script...' (2)

- Paste in the latest version of the script

into the editor field overwriting the default template

- Select File then Save

​

- Go to settings (1), change 'Config mode' to 'Advanced' (2)

- Then scroll down to 'Downloads BETA' (1) and change the option to 'Browser API' (2)

You should then see a download button alongside every post and at the top of every thread on the forum (you need to refresh any open tabs after installing), just hit the download button and the tool will download all media it can from the post/thread.

Weird Zip Names​

If zips download with a weird filename i.e. f81dfbdc-eb8b-4b37-8bb5-5100d498e2f6.zip then you should disable any download managers such as downthemall, free download manager etc., refresh the page and try again

Some stuff got changed on jpg earlier and there's also the ddos-guard stuff causing issues with the script so its hard to know tbh

i can see the picture, i even can download the picture manually. That's why i was wondering if there's some issue with the script

its only working on firefox btw sadly not in chrome

It's working completely fine here on chrome.

Its hard to fix the issue you guys are having when I cant replicate it

Works in Firefox and Chrome for me, but doesn't work in Brave browser.

It has been working for me on firefox AFTER I get the ddos guard check. What I have been doing is when I get on I right click a simp4 thumbnail and copy image link. Open a new tab and paste it. I get the check and it works until next time I get on. It is the only way that has triggered the guard for me. It is not ideal but it is working.

Now I have another issue where not everything downloads, by that I mean it'll get stuck on a post like 1/30 and not finish downloading, or for example 30/30 but it never completes, while other posts work. On Firefox by the way.

Most likely those images are on simp4 which is having work done to it

Can you make an option like "Download only Images", "Download only the Videos"? Because i dont want to look at all postings in some threads, i just either the images oder only the videos. And its from Thread to Thread different.

Currently been experiencing the 22byte rar download on any forum post for about a week now.

Checked for updates for scripts via tamper but didn't seem to find any.

Any update or anything?

Firefox 122.0.1 64bit.

Script seems to process normally, it's just not downloading anything.

Just tried it on a single picture post and still got the 22byte rar file which has always been a good indicator that something is wrong,

I had the same issue, had to copy the latest version of the script from github and replace it in tampermonkey as it wasn't updating

Hi. Bunkr download is not working because my region is disabled.

I tried to use VPN as an extension in browser, manually bunkr gives access to download, but with script it doesn't work.

Also installed VPN as a program, exactly the same. manually you can, through the script no.

What can you advise?

p.s tried through CyberDropDownloader, with VPN installed on the computer works with bunkr, but it is not as convenient as your script.

This script doesnt currently support individual bunkr links since the addition of the get.bunkr.ru pages.
I'm not spending so much time on here lately and dont have the will to fix this while fighting a forum that hangs often.

If someone else would like to make the necessary changes it would be much appreciated

Just an update - this now seems to be working fine. It's possible it was a Chrome update that was needed that I didn't get alerted to, or possibly some update to Tampermonkey.

The only problem I'm having at the moment is just Bunkr links which seem to be all over the place at the moment URL wise but they're pretty easy to download manually.

Yeah I havent got round to fixing bunkr links since they added the get.bunkr page.
Albums still work and the script includes all the new bunkr domains in its connects bit at the top.

I probably wont have time to work on the script for another week tbh, sorry

Where does it download the zip to? I tried downloading a bunkr album and it was showing a loading bar on the post going through the pictures in the album but after it finished nothing happened and nothing is my browsers download folder or the default one on the C drive.
