Guide Forum Post Downloader - Tampermonkey Script

  • Hi all, there are some hacked accounts posting viruses within zip links on gofile.
    Please report these posts when you see them.
    DO NOT reply to them, this just makes it harder for us to clean up and may get your account banned by mistake.

Introduction​

This script can download the contents of many posts on the forum including locally hosted attachments and files on some external hosts such as jpg.church, pixl, cyberdrop, bunkr, pixeldrain and others.

The script adds a download button alongside every post and a download all button at the top of every page which will download every post on the page.

Installation​


- Install the tampermonkey extension

- Click on the icon up near the web address bar (1) (you may have to click the puzzle piece to see it if its hidden) and then select 'Create a new script...' (2)

- Paste in the latest version of the script

into the editor field overwriting the default template

- Select File then Save

- Go to settings (1), change 'Config mode' to 'Advanced' (2)

- Then scroll down to 'Downloads BETA' (1) and change the option to 'Browser API' (2)

You should then see a download button alongside every post and at the top of every thread on the forum (you need to refresh any open tabs after installing), just hit the download button and the tool will download all media it can from the post/thread.






Weird Zip Names​


If zips download with a weird filename i.e. f81dfbdc-eb8b-4b37-8bb5-5100d498e2f6.zip then you should disable any download managers such as downthemall, free download manager etc., refresh the page and try again

As far as I can tell I followed the instruction in the first post. I tried it on a post with pics from JPG instead and this time it worked and the zip folder appeared in my downloads. I guess the issue is with Bunkr then but it did detect all the files in the Bunkr post and showed the progress bar in the post working it was just afterwards it didn't save it as a ZIP. The bunkr post was a lot bigger though Is there a delay if the ZIP file is really big? Maybe I closed the browser before it could save after the progress bar finished?

I cant seem to download saint files with the XenForo forum downloader. I remember it was possible before. Anyone know why?

Any idea why my download button would have randomly stopped showing up? I can't think of any changes made and it just isn't there anymore...
Re-installed 2.8.5 - using Firefox latest. Best way to diagnose?

No, it's not that. I just tried with Chrome and all is working normally so I guess something with Firefox or another plugin is conflicting (although i don't think i installed anything in between when it worked and now).

Curious if anyone else is using it with Firefox and having same issue?

- Fixes Bunkr links
- Fix Bunkr concurrent downloads (Parallel downloads are disabled for Bunkr links)
- Adds a Verify Bunkr Link setting (Turned off by default. When resolving the albums, the script uses the default convention to build the download URL (resolves entire album instantly) but sometimes the links resolve to the cached url (bunkr-cache.se). This setting forces the script to pull up the correct link (slow, as each file has to be resolved separately).

I am on the latest version, and every time i download a post or multiple on chrome, it pops up with asking me where do i want to save it. You can see how this is a hassle when i click download all button and for dozens of posts back to back i have to click save on each individual windows pop up. (in chrome i have "ask where to save download to" setting OFF. Anyone know a way to fix the windows popup box asking me where to save file location to?

It doesnt do anything when trying to get posts hosted on cyberdrop. Did update and stuff but nothing happends. Known issue?

Ok, I think I know what this problem is. I believe its cyberdrops rate limiting stopping every cyberdrop vid from loading in properly first time, if you refresh a few mins later the rest tend to load in and the script will work fine.

Just to check though, does the page look something like this when the script fails to work properly? i.e. some or all showing an error
